Active Agents: Pentapeptide-18, octapeptide-3, kudzu root extract
Effect: The synthetic octapeptide-3 is a further development of argireline and imitates the N-terminal ends of SNAP-25. Due to this the distribution of neuro-transmitters is inhibited and the contraction of muscular filaments reduced. The result: the skin can relax again. The kudzu root extract from the Chinese healing plant is especially rich in isoflavones and phyto-oestrogens. It reduces the activity of the elastase, of collagenase (matrix metalloproteinase) and prevents the break-down of the extra-cellular matrix (ECM). Additionally it has an anti-oxidative effect.
